Fiction writing is my passion.
I write about real kids who solve problems with their wits and gifts. Strong character, creativity, purpose, and a healthy respect for parents and the elderly mingle with fantasy, adventure, and unpredictable twists and turns. Kids are our future. What they read will either inspire them to be cool in whatever form the current culture dictates, or thoughtful, responsible, steadfast, and caring. We are what we eat. We're also what we read. I serve up a healthy diet!
Some of the things I love:
MY LORD
PEOPLE: My husband, four kids, granddaughter, family, and friends.
ANIMALS: My sheltie boys past and present, the collie we were fortunate to enjoy for 8 months, our grand-doggy rescue St. Bernard who lit up our lives for 2 short years, horses, elephants, and just about every animal out there.
FOOD: Simple, fresh, organic food!
COLOR: Navy Blue
BOOK/MOVIE: Anne of Green Gables
ACTIVITIES: Writing, acting, modeling, reading, ping pong, hiking, all things fiber, natural medicine and cooking, biking…
GAME: Charades
JOB: Besides being a writer, author, model, and aspiring actor; working for a veterinarian is a favorite memory. (That was so fun I didn’t consider it work.)
HOPE: That my Peridot series will be turned into motion pictures. (Your reviews will help that become a reality!) :)
(Oh, and the other stuff: I was born in Illinois, grew up in Southern California, went to college in Northern California, lived in Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Michigan, Maine, and settled in Minnesota. (That’s kind of a geography lesson. :)
